Some other things Labour "didn't think they could do much about"

Some other things Labour “didn’t think they could do much about”

Concerns have been raised as it’s all getting a bit too much for new Labour housing chief, Cllr Kevin Price.

Cllr Price is getting perilously close to actually having responsibility for something, and therefore having to do some work rather than just moan about stuff.

He is said to be consoling himself by moaning about stuff.

“God, it’s just really unfair.” said Cllr Price “people in London smell of wee and some of them don’t even have a first degree, let along a Masters or PhD.

If we keep letting Londoners buy stuff, what comes next?  Scottish people?  Welsh people?

Where will it end:  we do not want a situation where foreign people enter our City – what use would that be?

Next thing you know there will be unrelated people living in houses with each other, and we’ll have no way of knowing their domestic arrangements“.

Cllr Price denied being a magi, but claimed that he would sort the problems out by a series of mergers:

“Once I have merged the housing committees, I plan to move on to merging actual houses, and then merging people.

Think how much more space for housing there would be if people were merged together – and on top of that you’d have two extra arms.  For example, it would mean that Cllr Owers could pontificate and eat at the same time.

Of course whomever is merged with George Owers might complain, but sometimes pain is necessary for the greater good.”.

Lib Dem former housing Cllr, Catherine Smart, was said to have bought a white cat.

Shit, Cambridge Labour have realised, we might not find it as easy as we thought, running stuff.

Figures have been released that show that the City’s housing waiting list has been high this year, just like it was last year, and the year before that.  The not news comes just as Labour take power, shocking local Labour politicians as they had no idea things would actually be as shit as they kept telling people they are.

“We spent a lot of time saying “Cost of living crises” because it gets us extra points on the Millibland scale” said extreme hickey sufferer Cllr Kevin Price, tugging at his neckline.

“To be honest, we actually thought the Lib Dems did quite a good job and were looking forward to putting our feet up for bit now we’re in power, but this means we might actually have to do stuff.”.

Cllr Price was quick to compose himself and shift blame:

“Look, cost of living crises, ConDem, Nick Clegg, cost of living crises.

There, that’s better.

I mean, how hard can this be?  Really?”.

Ex housing chief, Lib Dem Cllr Catherine Smart was said to be smiling, which is unusual in of itself.
